Is it normal that i had a crush on a coworker?

When I was young girl, my mom hired a cute 19 year old guy to work around our farm. I hung out with him a lot and got pretty close to him. I used to think about him all the time. I had the biggest crush on him back then. I always wanted to be with him. He was my friend on Myspace and I always got jealous when he got a new girlfriend. So my question is, is it normal that I had a crush on my 'coworker'?
