Is it normal that i got two periods?

Okay, well, I've gotten my period atleast 6 weeks ago and my sister was over for the day and once she left down there felt weird like cramping when I get my period?
So once she left and we all had said our goodbyes I went to the bathroom and I checked. Guess what I saw? I got my period AGAIN! I thought they only come once a month?? Is this normal?? Or should I tell my mom and go to the doctors?? I'm confused :(

    Your last one was 6 weeks ago??? Sounds like you were due. Or am I misunderstanding?

    You're supposed to get your period every four weeks, honey. Go to the doctor.

    If you're very young periods can be extremely irregular. Check with your doctor to be sure everything is fine.
