Is it normal that i got my boyfriend to gay roleplay text with me?

So, me and my boyfriend started out friends and I'd roleplay text with him daily I always role play as a male (always a fantasy or scify creature/humaniod) never a female, I still don't understand why. Anyway, the relationships between characters was always platonic due to him being a straight guy and not liking anything to do wih gay stuff. About half a year later male characters have started to have sex. He only does this roleplay with me and we've kept it going for 5 years now.

    Roleplaying is fun! Have fun with it and enjoy! If you want you can even bring that into the bedroom with you if you want, you can wear a strap on and he can do you or you can do him. Have some fun with it I say!
