So i have known this guy for a whole year now, we have never been together or anything but we have flirted and now lately we have been talking about getting together like exclusive you know boyfrend & girlfriend..and well the thing is that i kind of unintentionally triked him into confessing that he is a year younger than me, i would not have bothered me so much if he would have told me from the begining and i actually do like him a lot but now a year later i feel like ive been lied to for so long that what else could he have lied about..i dont know if i should still talk to him or kind of forget about the whole thing and maybe stay friends..please tell me what you guys think i'd really apreciate it.

    uhhh, he only lied about being a year younger than you. What the fuck is the big deal? Just one freaken year younger and you're tripping like a lil bitch. Yes, it's bad that he lied to you for that long, but honestly, what he lied to you about isn't even that big a deal. -_-"

    The exact same thing happened to me. I will only tell you from my experience it's because he knew I was older and he didn't want his age to be the issue. He wanted me to see beyond his age and today we are really happy together. At first, I was asking myself the same questions, I was really upset. I made him really realise that the fact that he lied to me was a mistake and he fought to win me back because yes there's always that trust issue where your asking yourself what else is he hiding from me...
    See if he really is worth it before u get involved with him. Make him sweat a bit.

    If he is going to lie to you, then you two probably shouldn't be dating. I mean, communication is really important for couples. But, its probably not bad to stay friends, but it could be.

    Lying is always the first step in having a bad relationship. To him it might have been not really important but you can't build something on lies. You can try to be friends and see what happens from there.

    It's easy to see why he didn't tell you! Age should have nothing to do with attraction, but many are judged by their age so they hide it, old and young alike!
