Is it normal that i go look on the internet everyday for girl advice?

Basically, I'm turning 18 soon and I have never had a girlfriend, and it's a thing that is bothering me. I've recently met an amazing girl that I think likes me but I'm not sure. I'm also very shy sometimes and don't say much because I'm afraid of saying the wrong things and screw up, except I'm only shy around her! I'm never shy in general, I'm a very social and friendly person. You know when you meet that one girl which you can feel that she's interested in you? So I come on the internet looking for all sorts of advice from any source possible because I don't know what to do and I REALLY don't want to miss this opportunity... is this normal?

    You're already not going out with her. Worst case scenario: you don't go out with her. You lose nothing.

    Speak up! All she can say is no. Then atleast you will know. The next time won't be so hard. The first step is always the hardest. Don't waste your thinking on what-if. I did that tooo many years. It's not worth all that brain activity.

    I'm 18 never had a girlfriend, so I know how you feel.
    There was a girl in school I liked but I didn't make a move, she ended up going out with both of my best friends.
    My advice is try and go for it before it's too late.

    well i think you might have to put yourself on the line, take a risk and speak up to this girl. if it falls thru so be it. winners have to learn how to lose as well sometimes. good luck
