Is it normal that i get very nostalgic when i listen to pink floyd?

Okay, my favorite band is Pink Floyd. And I love them to bits, love their music and everything, but when I'm reading or listening to the lyrics, or simply seeing the song titles, I get overhwelmingly nostalgic, which makes me very anxious.
It started with my Syd Barrett obsession, which worsened my depression a lot.
Since then, I can't help but think that he's gone and Rich is gone and they'll all soon be gone and forgotten, and it makes me feel so bad.
I also get pretty anxious. This may have to do with the fact that I 1) have depression 2) have anxiety 3) I daydream so much I can't realize when I'm actually alone.
Is it normal? And how can I stop it?
PS: I'm really young so it's not specific nostalgia, it's just the feeling.

Try not to think about it and just enjoy the music.

One day you'll find that ten years have got behind you.

I'm officially telling you to run. Don't miss that starting gun.
