Is it normal that i get upset when people tell me goodnight?

When it's at night and I'm talking to my friends and they say goodnight because they are going to bed I get upset. It's kind of a lonely sad feeling. Is it normal that I feel like this? Why do I feel like this?

    You should get some nocturnal friends or people to talk with. They're the best people you could have.

    It is normal. It's probably because you are bored,and still want to talk to them. I feel the same way about this.
