You are nervous because you are worried about what other's will think of you. Most would say "just don't worry about what others think!" but I will tell you the truth: You probably can't change. I tried for years to help someone like you build self-confidence, and it cannot be done. Just accept that you are a nervous wreck.
the first time i got on stage i almost stopped breathing...it gets better after a few times
completely normal. for me, i find it helps to prepare by practicing and mentally visualizing yourself on stage.
Yes totally normal
I get stage fright to
I can't even go up in front of a class to present a project without freaking out
It's normal. I've never recovered from playing King Herod in a school play. First my crown fell off and rolled off the stage and then I was so distracted by everyone laughing, I tripped and fell off the stage myself. It was a performance so abject that I was only ever allowed to play animals after that.
Normal. Everyone to some degree or another is nervous when going on stage. The laughing part is something I've never seen happen though.
