I have a dilemma. Everytime i go to wal-mart to shop for groceries i get sick! Like throwing up type sick. But just looking around i'm fine. Am i the only one wit this problem???
Well, the most obvious explanation is that you are having some sort of reaction to the lighting or the materials that they use in the decor or the paint.
The next one that I can think of is that, as a child (or at some other point in time in which you can not remember), you had some kind of illness and threw up in the store and you are now having a resulting psychosomatic response every time you go into a Wal Mart (similar to how someone with PTSD might have a reaction of fear every time they hear a loud sound or see a person of a particular skin color).
The only other thing that I can think of is the natural reaction of disgust that many people have when they walk into a store that can sometimes be mistaken for American society's garbage bin. Maybe you just have a weak stomach :P
As a retired medical researcher, your symptoms sound like what is called a "vasovagal syncope", ie: fainting due to an inordinate and confusing number of causes.
My advice: see your internist. Most of the time, unfortunately, the cause producing the drop in BP, is unknown. But your doc may have some specific insights into your condition and be able to prescribe something or give you advice, ex: tightening your trunk musculature to stop the BP drop. Usually lying down will produce more blood flow to the brain and stop a fainting spell.
Best of luck. (As an aside my brother suffers from vaso usually when he sees needles, ie. injections, or blood. (a common reaction) It sucks)

This use to happen to me at a store my mom went to a lot when I was a kid . It even happened when I went there a couple of times as a adult . Then they remodeled it and changed the lighting and it never happened again . Never had it happen in any other store and it only did it in that one if I stayed in it for more than 20 mins or more . I always figured it was something with the lighting .
Its just when i shop for food i feel like that like i be bout to pass out things get dark so i have to go sit down
Do you think you're getting lightheaded from being on your feet too long? Might wanna get that looked at by a doctor, could be low blood pressure or something.
