I am petrified of thunderstorms and usually if there is one coming I stay inside the house until its almost completely dry outside. The thing is when it rains, its completely fine with me and sometimes I even just stand there. Does anyone know why I get scared of thunderstorms but not rain? O_o
It's a pretty common fear. I personally love being inside and watching a thunderstorm with lightning and everything from my window.
HAHA *teasing* and to your right imaginary tourists is a foolish kid scared of loud noises like thunder XD
Thunderstorms make me jump and I hate them. Its very common, come on why wouldn't a random BANG scare anyone, it does for me lol
I know this feeling of fearing thunderstorms.In the summer, many thunderstorms can start in a blink on an eye.I remember I was outside, sitting and talking with friends, when suddenly big drops of water started to fall, and the lightnings were soo scary! I felt so reliefed when I got in the house!
Anyway, I love to stay in the rain, that's so nice feeling!
I loveeeee thunderstorms!!! Storms, rain, blizzards, etc. But I know lots of people that hate thunderstorms.
Where I live there is hardly any thunderstorms. So, when we do get one my nose is pressed up against the window trying to see everything.
i fear it too..i can't even look at it. never have! and NEVER WILL! and when there is a thunderstorm i close everything that does with electricity and i need to HUG someone or go under the bed or in.. ehehe
Because you've heard of people being hit by lightning and the loud unexpected bang of thunder is startling.
