Is it normal that i get pissed off when people ask "are you ok man?"

You're obviously not okay as evidenced by the posts you deleted.

I didn't understand the last sentence, but it's one of these pointless yet apparently necessary questions. I find it annoying too, in England it's "are you alright?" And it drives me nuts. People would feel rude if they didn't ask as it seemingly shows they are concerned about you; yet you are not expected to answer truthfully and divulge all your personal troubles. They pretend to care, you pretend everything's going great...Makes no sense and yet society finds this meaningless interchange extremely necessary to function socially.

Glad you're not one of my students... I ask "Are you ok?" Probably like 9000 times a day. I just wanna know if you're ok, man...
