Is it normal that i get jealous of any girls he talks to?

I have a friend who lives in New York, I'm in Bath, England, I've never met him but we Skype once and only type on it now :/
he gets really annoyed that my webcam and mic don't work and says I'm at the bottom of his friends list. Anyway I want to know, is it normal that I get jealous when he talks to other girls? I don't like him in that way at ALL I did once but now, he just really pisses me off :L and I could never like him like that, he's more like an annoying sibling who you get along with sometimes :/
but any time he talks about one of his friends who are girls I get jealous of them, and start thinking thing s like, are they prettier than me, does he like them more than me, is he going out with her- and things like that :/ it makes me really get annoyed at myself because I wish I could get a long with them as well and talk to them more but these thoughts come into my head every time :S

    girly... stop it. You're young, its obvious. Guys come and go from our lives. People come and go from our lives. Jealousy is a horrible thing. It makes us feel less of ourselves for no reason. You said you don't even really have feelings for this guy other than an annoying brother so why let anything get to you? Of all the people in the world, what makes this one so special?? Nothing. You're letting yourself dwell on him when I'm sure there are other things and people more worthy of your thoughts. And besides, everyone has and will make friends and acquaintances of the same and opposite sex before we ever meet or know them so why should it be any different once we enter their life?

    Though I am I guy, I'd have to say that if you don't have feelings for him and he tells you you're at the bottom of his friend list, and any other mean things he's said. I would just say "fuck him" don't worry about him. And like what the bird said, people come and go. Some people aren't worth worrying about. Just forget him, he sounds like he's not worth losing sleep over.
