Too much heat and a drying soap will do that.

could be an allergy to the soap. try moisturising soap that is unscented.

yeah, most soap dries out...like that dove commercial talking about how soap dries out, but theirs is made of cream...use dove soap or after you get out of the shower lather up with body oil or lotion

Used to happen to me, I use warm water at the beginning of my shower then let it get colder at the end and it stopped.

  • if its after you dry and your skin is all itchy or stiff feeling that means you need to put on lotion on the itchy spots, mine does that so i lotion and my skin looks great afterwards, but if its when youre still wet it means its from too much heat, or mabey -probably not- youre allergic to something or its irritating your skin like soap or a shampoo

I would get itchy from some body washes. A lot of them have heavy fragrances in them which I think may have causes my itching. Or maybe not. Whatever the case I stick with certain soaps.

Try cooler water, moisturizing body wash, and lotion. If that doesn't help you're probably allergic to one of the products you're using.

If your skin rubs whilst performing this scratch then, you should then re-enter the shower and scrub again. This should rid any future itchings. And yes, lotion is a must

Moisturizer will help. There are in-shower body moisturizers on the market

  • You're using too much soap, it makes your skin dry.
