Is it normal that i get irritated by some of the polls on this site?

Some of the poll's on here I think can be offensive, and some of them just downright pathetic to even bother asking about. For example, the one's about people and what they look like, what you're attracted to the most, and all that junk! Who the hell cares?

It seem's like that's all that our society revolves there lives around. It doesn't matter who like's people with short hair, or blonde hair, or big ear lobes, girl with no ass, no boobs, to big ass, big boobs, guy's with no hair, or long hair, whether you prefer dark eye's or light eye's, etc. And to compare people, and rate people, when everyone in this world has different body types/bone structure's, different style, personality, is just ridiculous!! When I read question's like these, it make's me believe that the majority of people on this site are probably immature, or just twelve year's old.

    You must be new to IIN :-) I have concluded that about 50% of posts are teenagers looking for attention, 30% are fake and made up, purely to disgust or get a rise out of people and the remanding 20% are sincere IIN questions or people needing genuine advice :-)

    The very definition of "normal" is complete bullshit... simply because we are all so different.

    That's really the most beautiful part of the human race, just how different we are from one another, not just in appearance, but also in our morals, our opinions, and our thoughts.

    The fact that we try to define the term "normal" as it relates to humans is just entirely pointless.
    I kind of expected to see polls like that when I signed up for this site... you really shouldn't be surprised.

    My own hope is that people will, from using this site, come to understand just how varied the opinions of people are... and hopefully they will realize that not everybody thinks the same way about some topics.

    Here's some good advice: next time you see a question or a poll that offends you, just comment on it and state your opinion. When a person is presented with multiple choices, they tend to think about it more deeply and then make a choice for themselves.

    If you were looking for a partner, it'd probably interest you to know what people found attractive in a partner. Some of the polls annoy me too but I have the empathy to understand why the questions are being asked.
