Is it normal that i get huge crushes on anime characters

I would think this was bizarre if I just heard of someone having a huge anime crush. I'm on my second, and in my mid-twenties!

My first was Kojiro (James) from Pokemon. Yes, Pokemon. I don't know whether to be more ashamed that I was a huge poke-fan in my late teens, or that I totally fell in love with that shows' resident bishounen. Although, to he fair, I probably wouldn't have kept watching if it weren't for him!

Anyway, after that, I had a crush on *gasp* a real person (Jimmy Fallon), so I made sure to watch SNL like all the time. That faded, then I got a mega-crush on Jimmy Urine from Mindless Self Indulgence.

Lately I've become a bit of an otaku again, and one of the anime I've been watching lately is Urusei Yatsura. Now I'm totally crushing on Mendou. Just like my last anime crush, I was in denial at first!

Anyway, I've had a few crushes, but at least half of them were real! I'm batting 50/50 here. Is it totally bizarre to get such huge crushes on freaking anime characters?

P.S. Yes, I actually am married.

    It's so normal, I have on-going crushes on Raito Yagami, L and Sebby from Kuroshitshuji. Anime guys can be really hot!

      Sebastian was PERFECT! L was very smart and weird and that's why I love him. Yagami was the main character and ha was smart too and yes, I like them too!

    I am so in love with Kakashi and Sai from NARUTO. I mean, I am crazy about them! It's so normal, to love anime characters, I mean, they are just awesome. I've got their names scribble all over my workbook, sheets and stuff.

    there's been about a hundred posts like this. you're normal, just as long as you're not obsessed to the point where it consumes your life, or interferes with your marriage. i was on a manga/anime kick for a while recently..do you by any chance like yuyu hakusho or rurouni kenshin? or have you read the manga cherry juice? those are some of my recommendations :)
