Is it normal that i get extremely annoyed at uninvited touch?

It started when I was in the fourth grade. I had really long hair and some girls used to pull on it and so on an so forth. From there it just sort of escalated. I'm far older now and I get extremely annoyed when people so much as touch me without my say so. I never react outwardly other than to as quickly as possible brush off an offending limb but on the inside I'm contemplating cutting off people's hands (not nice, I know.) My parents touch also annoys me but I never react for fear of hurting their feelings, only the closest of my friends can touch me and even then sometimes I shrug off their touches (and we've been friends since the fourth grade!) In relationships i'm fine because I invite the touch but other than that...

When I used to have long, heat-straightened hair, it wasn't that uncommon for people to invade my life for it. They wanted to make sure if it was fake or not.

People are yet to have pulled that shit with my current hairstyle.

I don't like it when people invade another person's personal space, especially when it is strangers. The least they could do is ask first. :/

I'd say it's normal; tolerance levels for touch vary a lot. I'm pretty much the same as you, in that I'd quite like to throttle most people who touch me, but am okay with it on my own terms. It is often part and parcel with Aspergers (which I have), but my younger brother is neurotypical and gets similarly annoyed. The only difference is, he'll "grin and bear it", whereas I will vocalise my discomfort. I think it's just one of those things that varies from person to person.

I have really long hair too and it pisses me off when people think it's okay to touch it just because it's uncommonly long. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't appreciate someone touching their hair without permission. Who freakin' know where their hands have been. I also don't like when my family touches me either. It could be affectionate, but I will still pull away. It bothers me.

I hate to be touched by strangers, to the point of showing it, but I do not mind being touched by family and friends.

I think its pretty normal. A lot of people aren't touchy feely. My mom is like that.
I have a friend who has to go through a whole ritual if someone touches her by accident but she has Aspergers.
