Is it normal that i get embarrassed by my music?

When I'm alone and I'm listening to music either on Youtube or music on my Windows Player I sometimes get embarrassed and I'm like: 'Wow, do I really like this music? How embarassing. I can't believe I like this stuff'. Other times I'm like, 'Geeze, this song is wierd' or 'I'm a wierdo'. IIN?

    Nah, that's all pretty normal music to listen to. The lost prophets singer is not normal, though.

    Dont get embarassed by seemingly insignificant things like listening to music get embarassed when someone sees u swallow the load on the freeway while doing road head.. Now THAT is embarrasing

    It's normal to be embarrassed by music you listen to. People can be more judgmental about music than, well, pretty much anything else. Many people go so far as to consider the type of music you listen to as a measure of your worth as a human being. So it's perfectly normal to be embarrassed about the music you listen to. Particularly if you have heard not so kind words about the artists and/or type(s) of music you like.

    That's normal. I won't listen to certain artists in front of my family and acquaintances because they pick on me for it. But I don't see anything that embarrassing about your list. ABBA is a great band!

    We all have a varied taste in music. I don't think someone can like just 1 genre of music. I do this all the time though, a song will come on shuffle and it will make me cringe.

    thats normal, i get embarrassed when listening to my playlist at school cause it has things like 'fartstep' and remixes of people yelling, i make sure its not too loud as to be heard outside my headphones

    I love Abba and Evanescence. I've also enjoyed listening to linkin Park and the Backstreet Boys (only "I Want it that way").
