Normal. Alcoholism is a progressive disease though. So, I don't know how old you are or when you started drinking but if you find that over time your drinking become increasingly heavier, then maybe that's a sign that you are alcoholic. But for now, once a week, id say that's normal.
I'm 29m. But since this posting the frequency has gone down rather than up, of getting drunk that is. I have instead resorted to drinking a shandy (if you aren't from the UK that's 50% beer, 50% lemonade), and only one, but more frequently (3-4 times a week). It seems to be going well. Having said that, had a heavy night this weekend; it's been a while though - a month or more.
Looks normal to me,i get drunk once a week or two. As long as you don't feel the absolute need to drink.
Not a big deal I get drunk about 2 to 3 times a week n I'm 18 year old college kid. It's not a big deal ur normal.
Drinking every day is healthy enough to be classed as a health benefit if it's, say, just a glass of red wine.
Getting tipsy in social situations I don't count as negative, either. You have a laugh and bond.
But there's getting drunk, and there's getting drunk. Getting to the point where you can barely function as a human being is obviously not great.
I have family members who get drunk 3 times a week. Then again, my family might not be normal.
do you have a job you don't like? because i used to be the same way. when i had a rough week at work (at my old job), i would get drunk at the end of the week as a little "celebration"
