Is it normal that i get diarrhoea when i am dehydrated?

Just wondering because I was in hospital recently for an illness which gave me major diarrhoea (sorry for the mental image!) and wondering whether I should get it checked out?

    I think your diarrhea caused your dehydration, not the other way around. Also, yes, definitely get it checked out.

    Yes, I've read that if you have it you need to drink more water.
