Is it normal that i get a tickling feeling in my side?

I seem to get a tickling feeling in my side when somebody breathes or whispers in my ear. It is mainly in my lower back, right next to my hip. I have had this for as long as I can remember and thought, as I can't find any information on it anywhere, whether anyone else has the same thing?
Thanks :)

  • Oh yeah I know exactly what you're talking about. Feels good doesn't it?

I remember being 5 and whenever the (female) gym teacher whispered something into my ear I'd feel that goosebumps like sensation running down my lower back and side. I always felt tired when she spoke.

This happens to me also. It's usually when one of my cats start to purr in my ear, or when people whisper in my ear.
My whole back from dimple to dimple starts to tickle. And it's not that it hurts or anything. It's just a little weird. And I didn't want to say anything to anyone because I didn't want people to think I'm crazy. Does anyone know what causes it?
