Is it normal that i get a rush out of being shirtless?

I'm an 18 year old guy. Is it normal that when I'm shirtless I get a rush out of it? I live in Australia and it's Summer here and I've been looking forward to today for a few days because it was going to be hot so I could go to the beach and swim and relax. Afterwards I walked five minutes away from the beach to get some ice cream, still shirtless, and it all gave me a rush. I don't hang around shirtless at home, only when I'm home alone, or swimming, or on my own.

If society were fair, either women would be allowed to go topless or men would not be allowed. I read about a local traffic accident that occurred because a woman was distracted by the shirtless men on a construction site. So, not only do men also "feel" sexy without a shirt on, women and gay men find topless men as arousing and distracting as men and gay woman find topless women.

Even after decades of society's desexualization of the male chest and over-sexualization of female mammaries, underneath it all, being a shirtless man is still not as innocuous as people pretend it is. If you ask men in African tribes where women walk around shirtless if they view breasts as arousing, I bet they'd still say yes, but because they're used to it, they don't make a big deal out of it just like we don't make a big deal when a dude takes his shirt off.

I for one definitely feel "exposed" and naked without a shirt. It's a mixture of good and bad feelings.

Perhaps you wear a shirt so much, you feel refreshed taking it off or being shirtless diferentiates you from others. Any case, it's pretty normal - I feel the same way. I mean, we were born without shirts!
