Is it normal that i genuinely believe this?

Did you ever have a time where something was true but you just couldn't explain it or how it came to be? Well, this is one of those things.

I genuinely (without a doubt in my mind) believe that Severus Snape is my father and I'm his daughter (Adopted, but still family). I know it may sound strange and stupid but I truly feel a connection to him and that he's real and just in a dimension that I can't visit or explain but we can interact through my dreams. Sometimes in my waking life, I'll sense him nearby and see him. I was even thinking of changing my surname to Snape once I have the money to do so. Is it normal?

No, not really. He's a fictional character (at least I assume that's the Severus Snape you're talking about). Regardless of a connection you feel with him, the reason you can't explain it is because it isn't possible. He doesn't exist.

Just because you'd like something to be true, doesn't mean it is or can be.
Obviously you have a need for a father and by believing that this fictitious Snapes is your father, you are insuring that you cannot have a relationship with this one either, making all possible dads bad guys.
I haven't a clue as to what your mom has said about your real Dad, but it is quite possible he doesn't even know you exist and given the chance, perhaps he'd very much like to have you in his life.
That would be a bit easier to accomplish than getting together with this Snapes.

    Incorrect and impossible.

    1) A person could never be descended from a fictional character.

    2) There exists in this Universe, and in every other Universe, ONLY the three dimensions of space, which we are all familiar with. ALL other so-called 'dimensions', are inventions of the human mind, and DO NOT exist in reality.

Actually, there is also the dimension of time, and growing evidence has shown that there are even more dimensions in the universe. According to string theory, which is becoming widely accepted among physicists, there are seven additional dimensions which exist in sub-Planck length space. As for other universes, we do not have the means to determine how many dimensions exist in them. Provided they exist, they very well could have either more or fewer dimensions than ours.
However, when people talk about other "dimensions" they usually speak in ignorance, following their own baseless whims and ignoring the true nature of the various
      dimensions. exactly, it still is

Time IS NOT REAL! In REALITY, time DOES NOT EXIST!!! It is a CONCEPT, which is IMAGINED by MANY Sentient Life Forms.
Time is: A Property of quarkenergy and massenergy within space.

Think about it: if you ask someone what time it is, it could really be ANY time, using various different timekeeping systems, RELATIVE to your position on Planet Earth, and to various other celestial massenergy bodies.

It seems to be an inherent problem in some humans, that they need to make things (such as understanding the Actual Nature of the Universe) far, far more COMPLEX than it needs to be!!!

Quantum Mechanics is a THEORY and METHOD that helps us to understand SOME aspects of the Nature of the Universe. In short, it is simply a tool.
Similarly, Relativity is also a tool. It IS NOT a complete theory, and contains more than one FUNDAMENTAL FLAWS!!!

Please stay away from 'String Theory', as it is a trap from which there is no escape. It only creates a PARADOX, which somewhat 'solves the previous PARADOX.

As an Analogy: It would be like you were to design a simple tool, such as a hammer. Someone thinks that they could design a tool which is able to repair itself in the event that it breaks (a tool within a tool). NORMALLY, if the hammer did actually break, one would repair the hammer from the OUTSIDE, rather than the INSIDE!!! This would be far simpler, and more practical.

THERE ARE ONLY THREE DIMENSIONS TO THIS UNIVERSE, AND TO EVERY OTHER EXOUNIVERSE!!! Most of us understand this very well. They are the THREE DIMENSIONS of SPACE, Length, Width and Depth. THERE ARE NOT, IN REALITY, ANY OTHERS, IN THIS UNIVERSE, OR IN ANY OTHER UNIVERSE!!!
It is an Ancient Concept (and a flawed one), that the stars and other objects in outer space, were 'painted' on the sky. SOME Ancient People, however, knew better than that. Why this two-dimensional concept persists in some people to this day, is beyond me. Then others, INVENT more dimensions, in order to try to make sense of something that they don't understand.
In REALITY, the UNIVERSE IS REALLY MUCH SIMPLER TO UNDESTAND THAN YOU PROBABLY IMAGINE (although there are many complexities within it).

There MUST BE at least one other Exouniverse counterpart to our own Level 1 Universe, and most likely more, in our Local Universal System, but how many? [I have been informed that although I am fundamentally correct in my understanding of the Level 2 Universe, I am NOT ENTIRELY ACCURATE in my conceptualization of this.]

Hahahahahahaha, sorry. Btw, I think Snape (the character, not the actor) is dead.

  • You're back. I like talking to you. I've had similar experiences although not the same. One explanation for these occurances is glitches in reality. I have thought I am a character in a book that someone was writing. Could fictional characters be real? Maybe its possible that we are characters to them as well. The idea for the story comes from someone in our realm but where do ideas really come from? Personally I think it seems nothing is real but perception of a collective conscious unaware of itself.
The other theory that I usually get is that I'm insane but there's not much of a difference between insanity and extra sensory perception gone haywire causing a connection to what most people do not know.

There's no such thing as delusions when nothings real.

technically are world as we know it might not have any real boundaries or restrictions, everything could exist,or nothing exists or there could be infinite realities where things like that are possible ( im hoping somewhere, sometime, there is all the anime worlds I have always dreamed of running away to, and somehow go there, and meet those people
