Is it normal that i gave him an ultimatium?

i like a guy who i met at my friends wedding,i added on him on fcbk,we met for coffee once and we do keep in touch on fcbk. He knew that i like him and that i want us to go out but he always kept saying that he is busy because he is working sometimes around 12 hours a day and also playing soccer in the evening and also he says that he has to look after his younger sister at home. so after a few months of him always being busy and just keeping in touch online,i got really mad and a few days ago i have him a lecture&said to him many bad things including that he treated me like shit,didnt give a f..ck that i liked him and hes the biggest snob and so on.
He replied that he did like me,im a nice girl and that he knows he didnt get to know me much, but he said all his reasons were true that hes busy and that i didnt believe him since the beginning that he is busy,i told him that he should at least came to see me once a week,he also mentioned that his priorities will always be to his family first.
I asked him would he want a second chance from me? He said he would jump at the chance because he thinks im a nice girl but its up to me to give him another chance or not.
So,yesterday i just told him that ill make it very simple: or he finds time for me or ill find someone else. He said that he will think about it and will let me know. I said ok, that this is the bottom line and that i appreciate myself.
So basically i gave him an ultimatium,do u guys think it was a good idea to put it like that to him?
Because i got very tired to wait for months for us to go out....
and do u think its strange that he needs to think about it?
What do u think he will decide? Whats ur advice re this whole situation?

    Hahah. If over coffee ANY girl offered me an "Ultimatum" I'd probably piss myself laughing.

    "Who the fu** do you think you are??" Would be the only words I'd be able to utter.

    I'd then get up and leave.

    yes,i did give him an ultimatum last week where i said ' or u find time for me or ill find someone else',thats all i said. And i just cant believe that people on here called me a bitch! I guess they think its normal to treat me like he does!

    oh my god,thanks a lot guys,im not a bitch and im not crazy,and i never gave him any ultimatium when we went out,we had a good evening and we did keep in touch after that for many months and he still says im a nice girl,the only problem is that his life is very busy as he says because of his job,soccer and his sister,all i am asking him was to make time for me too and i told him that i like him and i want us to be dating,i just got tired of waiting for months for us to go out properly,i am very understanding person but just had enough now.I was asking u guys for advice re this situation,but all of u assumed that im a bitch which is not true just because i gave him an ultimatium after many months of being patient,its not fair on me!!!
