I'm currently on my period. I went out for a long night with my friends and I decided to put a tampon in for the night and I would take it out in the morning! My friend and I ended up going home with some guys and I had sex with one of them.I was really drunk, so I didn't remember much. I woke up and asked my friend if I took it out and she said I did when I peed in between throwing up. My period had completely stopped for the night, but I thought it was just because he fucked me on my period!
I was sitting in the bathroom this afternoon(2 days later) and thought my period blood looked funny, I wiped myself and then saw something in there, so I pulled it out! There was my 2 old day tampon I THOUGHT I had taken out. Let me remind you, I had sex WITH IT STILL IN!!! Thought something felt funny! Is this normal?

    really bad your lucky you didn't get TSS! and that you can die from it in 24 hours. please don't ever do that again. and btw you should not sleep with tampons inside!!!
    look up TSS if you don't know what it is.

    There's nothing wrong with that as long as your partner knows and is OK with it. Younger men and boys are a bit childish about blood.

    The real issue is that you left a tampon in for 2 days. You are suppose to change them out on a regular basis because of the possibility of bacterial growth.

    Just by using tampons you put yourself at risk of TSS but can keep the risk to the minimum by changing them regularly.

    If this is real, you have had a lucky escape from an early death.
