Is it normal that i freak out when nothing has happened?

The other day I wasn't up to doing much, and just kind of bummed around and watched movies. That night, I got this crazy feeling of fear in my gut. It was as if someone was coming after me and I wasn't able to get away. I started freaking out, and I felt so scared I didn't know what to do with myself. I started to cry and felt like I was losing my breath. My chest tightened and all I could think about was everything I had to do the next day and got more and more scared. It wasn't just stress, either. It was genuine fear. Was it just from not getting any exersize, watching tv? It also wasn't the first time it happened, soo...is it normal?

yeah, I get them too..The impending doom, the isolation, feelings of not being connected to anything or anybody..the racing heart, rapid breathing..pure hell and NOT normal in my book..I hope your not getting them anymore.

I feel the same way if I have an unproductive day. I start thinking about all the things I could have done and then it seems like all of my responsibilities come crashing down on me. Panic attacks suck. It's normal, some people are just more prone than others.

That was a panic attack. Not nice things to have at all. It's happened to me too.
