Is it normal that i found sex in the dark weird?

'k, so i had sex with a polish guy who turned out the lights in his bedroom right before we got naked. im still thinking of why someone would do that, specially a guy. i'm in doubt if he was embarrassed and didn't want me to see him or if he didn't want to see me which is strange because he seemed to be enjoying himself more than me. either way i ddont find that normal and kind of creepy. do you guys do that,? if so what are your reasons?

    I don't like sex in the dark either, mostly because I'm very visual and sex in the dark is boring. Dim light is very nice, though.
