Is it normal that i found a dead raccoon under my fridge?

I went to move my fridge so I could vacuum the air vent behind it and when I pulled the fridge forward I found a completely dried out raccoon carcus. It was disgusting and it was as dry as a tato chip. I didn't want to touch it so I just moved the fridge back. How the hell did it get there?

It's rare, but sometimes when an animal dies during a game of hide and seek, they may not be found for years. Your raccoon may have been a particularly good hider. And especially if he had a weak heart to begin with, the excitement and adrenaline of the game can sometimes bring on a heart attack. It's sad because the other animals would have been looking for him completely unaware that they only had minutes to save him.

Needless to say there have been calls to change the rules of HAS by bringing in third parties to whom the animals will notify of their intended hiding spots etc. It's a bit controversial and many think it will ruin the spirit of the game. I'm not sure; if it saves lives I guess it's a good thing.

Anyway, RIP Raccoon. I hope they find you in a better place.

Poor son of a bitch, didn't even know it was there, damn fitting men must have seen it and dropped the fridge on that bastard, but this is a troll, 1 - you'd smell it, 2 - why move the fridge back you'd get rid of it, that shit is nasty could cause any number of diseases! 3 - who vacuums under their fridge? (Nah that's a joke but come on)

Well, lots of people would troll about it. How it got under there is what I'm wondering and why it seems so unlikely.

I highly suggest that you get the raccoon out from under the refrigerator and bury the poor little guy. If someone found your mummified corpse in a strange place wouldn't you want a decent burial?

Why are you afraid of it? The mummified raccoon is dead; it can't do anything to you.

Raccoon's are actually very smart creatures. They can open doors, windows, and do basically everything a human can do. Its really amazing really. He probably was trying to get something from the fridge and just got stuck and eventually died. I would move your fridge and grab the carcass with gloves and throw him away or if you want to be respectful burry it. Having a dead carcass under your fridge where you keep your food is not sanitary at all.

It's okay. It's gross, but it happens. There was a professor at university a while back who had two dead squirrels caught in his air conditioner. No one knew how they got into the third floor of the building, but they did. And it smelled bad. And the other professors laughed about it down the hallway and rejoiced about probably going to Hell...

Disgusting! it must of knocked on the door, and maybe your baby brother let it in? Or the aliens put it their to monitor the behavior of the red ants under the fridge.

Do you have a history of "pest infestation" in your home? Do you hoard things? Do you often leave food out?
