Is it normal that i find this site slightly absurd?

Okay I know some questions here are definitely posted in good-faith and the people submitting them are genuinely concerned with the issues they write about. BUT as everybody over 12 knows, very few things in life can be neatly divided into good/bad, normal/abnormal, always/never etc. This is especially true in the social world and human interaction.

More than a few questions here seem troll-like or not serious. And of course there is the usual thing of tons of questions about sexual stuff that are not asked with any serious intent.

So...is it normal for people here to wonder wtf this site is really about and whether it actually helps many people sort out confusing life issues?

    I'm confused by the trolls. I don't know if it's really good dedication or just really sad. I don't get how the trolls can post the same post type over and over again and not get bored. If it's to piss people off then they've gotten past that point, it's expected now, so I don't get them. >_>

    I come here for entertainment. Sometimes somebody actually asks an intelligent question, and I try to answer it if I can, to help them out. Sometimes I have a serious question in which case I try to sort out between the serious helpful answers and the crap, and I usually end up with something I can use!

    This website is so random... that's why I'm on here now!!! But in some cases I guess that's the purpose. This site is either for boredom or concerns.

    If you come to this site you are seeing the most unconventional and eccentric parts of people, so it makes sense that this site is too.

    Most of those that get labeled as "trolls" really aren't that at all. We just say stuff that isn't "light hearted or fun". And certainly not "politically correct".

    I can only speak for myself but I don't purposefully set out to hurt anyone's feelings, but I still speak my mind.
