Is it normal that i find that all things end up on my floor?

So a few days ago I found an old penny on my floor. It was from 1961, I came to realise that it spent an over 50 year journey just to end up on my floor. This brought on the realisation, that in the end we all just end up on or under the floor. In the largest picture, we are all just psychotic apes floating on a rock in space. Is it normal to think this way?
