I myself am an obese male. Ever since I hit puberty, obese women, or just as heavy in my case, have aroused me more than thin women. Is it because I too am obese? Is it fully engraved in my mind that I prefer BBW's (Big Beautiful Women), even if I lose my weight?

I think it's weird that people consider overweight to be a fetish in the first place. We're all just people, we all have different shapes and one is not better than any other if you're happy with yourself and healthy.
I don't find obese people attractive in general, but that's just me.

Yes, I believe it is. It's interesting that you question that. I have never been attracted to overweight male partners and all my life I have been a big beautiful girl, from childhood to late twenties, when I suddenly lost all the excessive weight I carried. I'm by no means skinny nor will I ever be, I'm just not chubby anymore. Well, given all that, I would always state jokingly, but seriously, that there's room for only one fat person in my relationships, and that person is me!
After losing some of my weight, I have found out that I am able to love and desire an overweight man, but my instincts remain the same, I'm drawn to slimmer men. So, from my experience, I'd say that even if you lose all your extra pounds, you'll probably still be aroused by BBW.

Standards of beauty are largely cultural.
In some African countries the men prefer obese brides in fact anyone under 230lbs is considered a "bag of bones"! It makes sense in a culture where starvation is common its a sign of success and prosperity for a man to have a fat wife.
In most Western countries thinness is the norm but I don't think you should care, whatever appeals to you in body size is whats right.
I'm referring to where they are still moble without assistence, but very very heavy, best way I can describe is a bit bigger than Kathy Najimy when she was her heaviest.
If that's what works for you, I don't see why not, I like em chubby myself. Our of curiosity, when you say obese, what level do you mean, the kind that can beat you up? the kind your arms are too short to give a hug, or the kind that its easier to jump over her then to walk around her?
