Is it normal that i find it hard to believe metal gear is fiction?

The story of MGS is so unbelievably beautiful, and I have a hard time convincing myself that there isn't a man like Solid Snake in this world, from a similar cloning background, keeping this world in one piece against an essentially nonexistent controlling government that is "The Patriots". The world is pretty jacked up, and it's not implausible for something of this caliber to be the truth. What do you think?

      Its pretty normal. Like Jake said, it means the programmers did a good job. Its human nature to think about the world and question everything
