Is it normal that i find it a bit intense making eye contact?

Certain people are absolutely fine with holding eye contact for an entire conversation while talking to me. I however, can find it a bit awkward and uncomfortable at times with certain people so I'll try and break it by either looking down or looking away. is it normal it can feel intense and uncomfortable?

I used to feel weird about it but I noticed that when my self confidence went up, I did it more.

I stare at their noses. They think we're making eye contact but nope.

It's annoying sometimes, but I can handle it. The nonsensical shit that most people spew out of their mouths unendingly is much more unpleasant than an eyeball.

When do you ever even have the opportunity to make eye contact with anybody, locked away in your billion dollar ivory tower in Boston, running your hotel empire (or should I say playing multiplayer Monopoly?) online, stevie boy?
Again, posting about things you have absolutely no experience with. Pitiful.

I don't own a "hotel empire", you idiot. I co-own one inner city hotel with a business partner. I'm not "locked away", either. I attend university five days a week, and work 8 hours a day with other people.

Now go and stuff your rubber ducky up your ass and shut up, please.

My how your story changes. At least I'm consistent, whether one chooses to believe me or not.
You go to uni AND work 8 hours a day? Are you superman or something?
But you, with your hotel (why work AND go to school if you are already the billionaire you say you are?) and penthouse apartment and your computer program that can see things in a picture that just don't exist and... oh shit there's just too many lies to remember them all.
Go ask mommy to bathe you now and wash your lying mouth out with soap, stevie boy.

I work AT the university, you idiot. Also, I never said I was a billionaire. I simply said that I am highly wealthy for my age.

I have no idea what you're talking about with the "computer program" thing, but I never claimed to have irrefutable proof regarding the inauthenticity of your picture. I merely said it was easy to edit a photograph.

I've also never forgotten my own age, or think Hitler was a Jew, or that doctors should drug and force abortions on teenage girls.

What a bunch of crap. You can't even remember your own lies, you tell so many.
Please, nobody says "I attend university five days a week" when they work there. Even with your massive 80 IQ, you should know that.
Come on stevie, time to admit you are a fraud. You can't get through one thread (actually two successive replies) without fucking up your story.

I'm with you there, buddy, I can't maintain eye contact for over a second or two. something about it - and people in general - really freaks me out!

Normal. Eye contact for long periods of time can be pretty scary for me. Then again I'm a socially awkward weirdo that has no idea how to deal with certain people. I've gotten better at keeping eye contact for long periods and I've noticed that people treat me better, so I'm going to keep working at it.

I have a lot of trouble making eye contact with more intense (passionate, emotional, expressive) people. I think it's because it feels like there's a lot more going on behind their eyes. I think it's pretty normal.

    • Yes I think you're right! It could be a lot of energy being expressed through their thoughts that we feel or something
