Is it normal that i find enjoyment in seeing people die on tv?

When watching NCIS or the Mentalist or any crime scene investigation show, I find joy in watching the crime. In other words I like seeing them die and I sometimes laugh. I often find myself rooting for the bad guy in certain movies. When someone's got the gun pointed to himself or a hostage I always think "Do it, pussy!!" In one movie, the protagonist stopped the mass murderer and I got bummed. In Schindlers List I couldn't stop laughing ( I have nothing against Jews, just people in general). This has been going on up to 6 or 7 years ago! Is this normal?

Why do you think you're fascinated with death and violence? I think it shows a dark side you need to understand, before you get the urge to act it out.

I think it is normal to enjoy seeing violence in general as long as it is in a fantasy environment. I enjoy watching the bad guys get killed but not the innocents. You shouldn't be laughing at Schindler's List for one thing, and you should only want to see the bad guys die. Your problem seems normal you should just be more selective for who you enjoy watching die.

I think it just comes from a desensitization to death and violence. The real concern comes when you start wanting to enact some of the scenes you see in these shows.

our mordern day society has changed from the way we used to percieve things like death. gamers for example are exposed to this violant experience but for some it comes naturally
