    I actually like school uniforms. It takes the pressure off deciding if people will make fun of you for what you wear. Plus, it make everyone kind of equal. On a side note, I have a sort of fetish for school girl uniforms, especially Japanese uniforms.

    im british and i HATED my uniform! black trousers, black shoes, white button blouse, tie, very thick jumper and a blazer! we all looked really fat!

    i wish i was japanese! their uniform is cuuute! XD

    My school uniform was in a traditional UK school wearing a pleated pinafore.

    I swear it was the St Trinian's one!!
    We wore a sash for a belt that we tied like a tie. It made the wealthy and poor equal - I loved it.

    I'm brittish and i'm sorry to say the average real school uniform, even for girls is a shirt or polo shirt with a sweater over the top, trousers and black shoes.

    I like British and Japanese uniforms. They seem to have more style.

    The one's in america mainly consist of high-water khaki pants and cardigans. If it's not that then it's a strange sweatpants concoction!

    I dislike all uniforms. I like to express myself through clothes even if it's one of those boring sweat pants days. It'd be nice if there were more private schools without a dressing code.

      I agree!

      I used to go to a catholic school when I was much younger and I was forced to wear ugly plaid dresses! I couldn't wear what I wanted and I didn't want to wear dresses. It was really stressful, that no one was allowed to be themselves.

    Really?mine was terrible, I hated my uniform!Went to an all girls grammar school. Finished just a few years back.60 denier thick navy blue tights,knee length kilt , granny cardigan. I mean ew. Maybe back in the 50s that was in but now its just asking for the public school kids to make fun of you.Anyway most of the girls who go there are sluts ( minus me obviously) so dont let that traditional uniform fool you. Sorry to be a bubble buster.
