Is it normal that i find being a part of society very difficult?

Everything I do barely scrapes even, whether it's my grades or social life.
Being called average is a compliment because trying my absolute hardest is the equivalent to an average person slacking off.
For example, I go to a job in the customer service industry and just talking to the customers was nearly impossible unless I was told exactly what to say. Another example is that whenever I would take tests when I was younger I would need longer than everyone else.

Who ever told you life would be easy? I haven't seen that in the rule book, anywhere.
I think it is great that you try your absolute hardest, putting everything you have into getting things done right, and you probably earn the respect of those around you, for your efforts.
I would certainly prefer you as an employee, than some know it all smart ass, that everything comes easy to. Keep plugging away and I'm sure you will reap the rewards from your hard work.

Yes it is normal very much and especially today. I say this as a young person who appreciates the world of his parents and older friends rather than oppose it like most generations did.
