Is it normal that i feel ugly

Can't exactly say you are or you aren't. I'm not even looking at your face so how am I -someone who has never before met you- supposed to tell you the attractive qualities in it?

A Clue: No. It is not Possible.

However, what I can tell you follows a completely different train of thought. Think of the human race as a large herd of wolves. There are the alphas, the followers and the loners.

Sounds kinda like a high-school cliche, right?

Most of us are followers. We watch what the alpha does and imitate what we see. Just like a droplet of water can initiate ripple after ripple. And then there are the mutations in the genes.

The "Loners" who seem not to care about anyone or anything. The Ones who go about doing what they want to do and even though they might not have any friends, they still inspire respect or fear or maybe even admiration because stand tall against "the Public".

And then, there are the Alphas. The thing about Alphas is that they technically have to have followers to be what they are. They use several cunning manipulation tactics and the really smart ones will pretend that you are in fact the Alpha.

I don't know why all of us care so much to be the Alpha but we do. Now the point of this is that there is a hierarchy and you sir, are a part of it. Right there at the bottom. You are where the Alphas put you and will forever be in the same place in the eyes of the "followers" and the "Alphas".

But the point is: Why. Just tell me why. Why on earth do you care? Who are they to tell you who and what to be and you want to know something else? Cleopatra wasn't attractive not in the least. Not with that hook nose atrocity on her face and yet somehow, she attracted the two most powerful men in her time and you're saying that's a coincidence?

Obviously, they were choosing you as a target to place themselves above. Because that's what they do. They don't know how someone could stare at a ceiling for ten minutes simply because they wanted to. They don't comprehend life. They're like zombies. Except they're not dead.

Trust me when I say the Indians knew what they were talking about when they made up the "Totem Pole".

And that's all there is to it.

When people say that high school are the 4 best years of your life, they're lying their asses off. It's the worst 4 years. College is way better, because all the idiots who made fun of people couldn't get in if they tried. Just suffer through it like the rest of us and try to stay alive in the process. You are most likely not ugly, but others would like you to believe otherwise. Why? Because they're douche-bags. Case closed.

Gotta agree with CountryRoads. High school sucks. As easy as it is to say...you really can't judge yourself by how you perceive teenage peers look at you.

There is no "true" definition of an "ugly" person. What is attractive to one may be repulsive for another. Have patience because you'll some day meet the one that thinks you're perfect.

Ugh high school sucks.

Some people are mean. Also, people tend to have very different opinions on what is attractive and what isn't. There are always people that will find you attractive though. Also, some people actually care about important things like getting to know people.

Real beauty is on the inside. Sounds cliche but it's still true. Nothing is more attractive than self confidence.

I think that people sometimes are really mean.I can tell you only three things,be beautiful inside,don't care what others think and be yourself.

Yes that is the same with me. In fact almost the same year except my friends completely turned around on me because they realised that I was dragging them down and they would rather have a higher up place on the "social ladder" than be a true friend.

I am now very self conscious of my looks but I have no idea if I am ugly or not and even though I am naturally self conscious I really don't care because it allows me to see who really likes me and who doesn't and in all honesty, if I got so bad I would simply just go back to doing something that I find fun...spending time with my family or my real friends outside college.

I feel ugly too sumtimes...But Then I feel really sexy sumtimes too like every chick around jus wants dis dick...I know it isnt so maybe jus like 90% but ...

You'r not ugly. i always fel ugly. not to sound all stupid. but yeah something may look ugly but everything on this earth god put on here is natural and beatiful. and were apart of it.

All i can say is this. This. jokes aside i wouldnt put too much stock in what people say. Then again i make the same mistakes so i can tell you that it is a horrible road. Heed this advice friend, unless they are a dear friend or family take it all with a grain of salt.
