I see a threat every time I look in a mirror. It's lead to lots of bloody battles with myself.
I feel ugly sometimes and I don't have any self confidence to speak of, I just go by what people tell me and if someone compliments me I get this exaggerated sense of self which soon dissipates when I look at myself too intently because who was I kidding.
I feel like that sometimes and when I do I think of something in my past as a younger child that made me feel good! For mine is was getting to me an author because she told me no matter what life gives you, make lemons and make it go blind! Now I'm planning a big story with many different plots! Stay strong you just need that bit of confidence!
"This is my body, and I live in it. It's 31 and 6 months old. It's changed a lot, since it was new. It's done stuff it wasn't built to do. I often try to fill it up with wine. And the weirdest thing about it is, I spend so much time hating it, but it never says a bad word about me. This is my body, and it's fine. It's where I spend the vast majority of my time. It's not perfect, but it's mine." (C) Tim Minchin.
I would say it's normal. I get compliments all the time on my appearance, just had way too much of it happening on Saturday which does get annoying but I sometimes feel ugly even when I have no reason to.
So, I would say it's normal.
I don't know how to say this without seeming extremely full of myself but no. Only those that are extremely attractive or extremely fits someone's view of physical beauty will they bring an appearance compliment.
Most chances are that you're average looking, hence why it's called "average", which there is absolutely nothing wrong with. It just means that you probably don't have an appearance that's much different from everyone else.
So I doubt you're ugly, you're probably just average, which there is nothing wrong with being. :P
If you don't think somethings wrong with you at some point, you must be seriously self obsessed.
Most of us have things we dislike about our looks. The thing is to not let it get to be an obsession and remember that others do NOT see us as we see ourselves.
Everybody feels like that at some point of their lives. And I know I do most of the time inside and out! I usually just occupy myself with something like killing a rabbit or hijacking a cop!
