Is it normal that i feel this way?

Well, id just moved to a new house in a small village and my neighbour took interest in my i think, and we got along really well and as usual i start to get really strong feelings for her and i asked her about it and her reply was 'i like you and have really strong feelings but i don't know what to do'

Well a couple of months pass and we are texting/seeing each other everyday, then everything starts to change she don't make no attempt to text me but comes round my house practically everyday so i ask her what's going to happen between us and her reply was nothing she likes it the way she is but apparently she still has feelings for me and likes me
and it really hurt me but i cant just let her go because i don't know what i would do without her.

I think ive fell in love with her but its obviously one sided

is it normal that im really hurt? and are constantly thinking about her :(

    It doesn't seem that one-sided, if you love her and she loves you.

    She told you that she likes you.
    She hangs around your house every day. People don't hang around people every day because they are not interested in them. They do it because they don't want to be anywhere else.

    Why would you want to let her go???
    What is preventing her from pursuing you?

      the thing that is preventing her is her past apparently she hasn't been treated right by men and thinks im gonna end up the same:(

    Of course it's normal! Maybe you should try to move on? I know it's crushing to go through that, but you just have to accept it. It's not going to be easy, but you can get through it I promise. One day you will find someone you love and who loves you back. You just have to be patient :) good things come to those who wait. What I'm saying is, enjoy your friendship with her. Don't try to change something that is already perfectly fine. If she likes it the way it is, then that's the way it should stay. It's going to be hard though, but try to make the best out of it. You have a good friend, keep her! If you like being around her, then keep being around her. Hope I helped, sorry for the long reply. Good luck.
