Is it normal that i feel sick if a stick my finger in my ear?

O.k I had a really ichy ear and whent to scrach it but when I stuck my finger in my ear it mad me feel really sick but then the next day samething happened but I didnt feel sick is there something bad thats going on with my Ear?
