Try it with a squirt of lemon juice or diluted juice.

MiO or Crystal Light are good water flavorers. Tea is good too, though actual tea not bottled tea. Are you drinking tap water, filtered or bottled? Bottled water usually has minerals added, so different ones might taste funny. Filtered, you may try replacing the filter cartridge; an old cartridge can actually start to breed the bacteria its filtered out! Tap has fluoride & chlorine, both harmless to you but may affect your liking. Oh, and well water can be high in off-tasting minerals. Also, I gag if I try to drink water after brushing my teeth.

Concentrated water is not good for you if taken in large quantities. You'll need to dilute it with something like whiskey or vodka.

  • Perhaps you have hard water or other impurities in your water. You should get the water quality tested.

Are you drinking tap water or water with unhealthy ingredients/plastics? I can't drink tap, because of allergies and most flavoured water beverages have artificial sweeteners so, I can't drink them either. Get bottled water. Fuji, I hear that water is pretty safe. Flavour it with lemons or make tea out of it. Vitamin Water is good and probably wouldn't make you feel sick either. Sparkling drinks can help to sooth tummy aches. Make subtle changes and see if things get better. Good Luck:)

It could be plastics in your water supply. Drink from a glass, not a plastic cup or bottle. If you know where a good, clean natural spring is, try drinking that water from a glass (bottle).

Oh good point! Plastic bottles degrade if exposed to sun/heat or are reused.

Is it like as soon as u drink it ur stomach hurts really bad? Maybe causes diarrhea? Try drinking tepid or warm water instead of cold water. For some people, like myself, when u drink cold water all the blood rushes to ur stomach to warm the water and can cause stomach aches or diarrhea. hope this helps =)

You must live in the city... It's probably that the water where you live is fluorinated... I doubt you'd ever feel sick drinking clean well water.

Fluoride is added for dental health. Besides, well water is not always clean. There is all kinds of crap that you can pull out of well water... minerals and bacteria, mostly.

I already knew the reason they added fluoride, but it's really bad for your skin. They did a study and had women from fluorinated cities only drink and bathe in fluorine free water and the signs of aging on their skin improved dramatically. Every time I stay in a hotel with fluorinated water I get a rash that lasts for weeks... If you get your water source checked, well water is usually way better than even filtered city water. A major plus is that it doesn't taste like a swimming pool.

Lol on the last sentence. I use a Brita filter for my water. I can also imagine how your skin can get sensitive to treated city water after using well water. The study you mentioned is interesting, I'm going to have to look that one up!

Just google fluoride and aging... tons of stuff comes up... the study I read is just one of many. There's a particular study about a village in Turkey I think... it's astonishing... it says the people looked elderly by their thirtieth birthday, because of 5 parts per million fluoride in their drinking water!

Drink water with dinner so that there is food in your stomach and the water is not just sloshing around in there by itself. Can you drink other things that are mainly water, like tea?

I agree with the others. I also try eating a little snack that makes me really thirsty...like a cookie or something and chug the water.

I agree with the a couple of the other commenters. There are numerous varities of flavorings you can use to improve your water's taste. I know a couple people who just downright detest water. There's nothing physically wrong with them, so I wouldn't worry about it being something you need to have checked out by a doctor.

I personally like Crystal Light's pink lemonade flavor the best. It's delicious, doesn't leave a gross aftertaste, and goes down smooth. Experiment and see which one you like best.

  • I suggest buying a Britta water filter. It removes impurities and makes the water taste a lot better.

I don't think it makes the water taste better at all, the water in my previous location was terrible "that's" probably why. But filters are quite annoying.
