Is it normal that i feel self-conscious in front of photos?

Ever since I was little I thought photos captured the essence of the person or character in it. I can't do anything weird in front of a photo, like eat something messy. I like to stare at my boyfriend's picture because it makes me feel better. When I was 5 I used to set up VCR cases and put on shows for them. Is it normal?

    Yeah I think that's pretty normal.

    "Weird" things would be part of who you are. If a picture wasn't being taken, everyone around you can still see you and decide what things are "weird" about you.

    I guess what I'm trying to say is people will form their opinions on how you are no matter what, and that day you ate the messy food would be a part of your imprint on the world.

    Try not to feel too concerned about it I suppose, embrace it! I hope this helps.
