Is it normal that i feel like people are watching me inside my head?

I feel like people are watching everything I do, but through my eyes, not from the outside. I usually feel like it's somebody I know. I sometimes end up talking out loud, trying to explain any embarrassing things I do to the people watching me. Is this normal?

Honestly, I'd once been convinced my imaginary friends were conspiring to take me down from the inside out. Never understood how it happened. I had to check around corners at night to make sure one wasn't standing ready to stab me to death.

I had a moderate feeling that Chester was leading the conspiracy, with Carey being second in line. There was no way of knowing absolutely, however. I had to eventually short their sentience and mind-reading just enough to make organized resistance impossible. Even though they can no longer feel guilt, I still feel bad for doing that to them over simple paranoia. :(

I've never heard anyone I know speak of people watching them from the head; I'll have to say it's normal based on how our experiences are similar. Now I'm curious to find out if people actually do feel it, and simply not talk about it. Good luck! :)

This may sound funny, but this reminded me of when I was growing up. I had an aunt that was really religious and she would tell me that God and all the angels and everyone in Heaven was watching over me.

I would get this image in my head that there would be all these people sitting on clouds watching everything I did, which was okay most of the time, but I'd get really uncomfortable in the bathroom or when I was trying to fall asleep.

I'm glad I grew out of that.

You sure you don't have multiple personalities and it's the other YOU watching you?

I felt like that since I was a child. I guess it normal that or we're both paranoid.

I sort of do a similar thing. I don't really explain myself when I'm doing something embarrassing though, I'll try to stop thinking they're watching.
