Is it normal that i feel like people are constantly looking at me?

I feel like people are always staring at me at school, well everywhere. In all of my classes I sit in the back but it seems like they just turn around to look at me. I don't know what's wrong. At lunch time I go outside with my friends and it seems like everyone stops what they are doing just to look at me, maybe I'm paranoid.I went to the counselor a few times about it but she says to ignore them and I try. Is it because of the people I talk to (my emo gothic friend, my prego friend,my crazy friend)? Or maybe I am just paranoid...

    at restaurant i always complain people are always looking at me >:/

    Yea..people stare at me too..it kinda freaks me out. My mom said it's cuz I'm pretty, so idk, maybe that's it for you? I know when a hott guy walks by I can't help but look, so it could be the same deal here :)

    same man when i was in high school people kept staring at me and there two times that was really wierd one was when this dude goes omg look thats him thats Marcus (me) and i didnt even know who the guy was or why he pointed me out and then another time is when i was walking into the main building to get to class after break these 2 girls where infront of me and looked back and started whispering and i heard one say "thats him" it confused the shit out of me i was wondering wtf i did that made people act that way. Now that iv gotten abit older i have moved and even now i walk into town and people keep looking at me i know im not paranoid because we meet eye contact everytime a person looks at me its kind of anoying i dont know if they are looking at me for bad reasons or good reasons
    and the two school things i dont think il ever find out why they acted that way.
