Is it normal that i feel like i'm going through a second puberty?

OK, so, I thought all of this was over and done with. I'm 25 years old now, and I began puberty at the age of 11. By 15, things seemed to be pretty much wrapped up, or so I thought.

I'd stopped growing for years prior to this, but out of nowhere this past year I've grown another inch. My shoulders have gotten much broader and my facial bones are changing. My orbital ridge is much more pronounced now. I've gained weight and my leg muscles suddenly look huge though I've not been working out. When this all began around 9 months ago I remember feeling irritable and noticed that I had a few zits. I hadn't had one since I was 15.

The most evident change is my body hair. I used to only have peach fuzz on my arms and legs, but now the hair is coarser and darker. All I had before on my belly was a light treasure trail, but now I have a lot of chest hair. I used to have very light beard growth, but now I can grow a beard! My hairline also changed into the grown-up slight M shape. Luckily for me, the hair loss stopped there.

I'd heard that some men get a little hairier into their twenties and thirties, but coupled with the bone, height, and muscle growth, it seems kind of unusual to me.

I looked up the stages of puberty and found that everything I'd just gone through was the final stage of male puberty, so it seems that for some reason my development stalled around ten years ago only to pick up now. Why? Will it continue? Is this normal?

I'm 25 and the SAME exact shit is happening to me. I grew almost 2 inches this year and gained weight. Almost 6"5. I used to be skin and bones and I think my muscles finally caught up to me lol. I do to know what the deal is but I've heard it can happen.

I have heard of this before. It could be due to recessive genes finally stimulating what should have happened at 15.
It is very rare and only happens to those with the lycanthrope gene.
You should expect several other manifestations over the next year or so, but don't worry, the villagers with their torches and pitchforks, will put an end to your suffering.

    • Is it sad I kind of hope you're right? Not the villagers part, but the werewolf part.

Something similar has been happening to me this year. I officially started puberty at the age of nine, when I got my period. For many years, I stayed around 5ft and 2 1/2 inches. This year, I've been growing taller. Everyday, I grow some more. I've gone through so many sizes in clothing in such a short period of time. From women's small to large. From men's small to medium. I've outgrown one pair of shoes and I'm about to outgrow another pair (both the same size). I can even wear pants for tall men, with little problem. It's expensive but it's worth it. I'm very happy that I'm growing.

That's the difficult part. I've tried using tape measures and putting a line where my head stops but, these methods, or so I've been told, aren't accurate. I used to get measured at the doctor's, but I stopped going. The only way I can "measure" is by comparing and memorising distances. Like, where my body came in relation to an object the day previous to where it is now.

Don't look for answers here. Go see a doctor, dude. The people here will only make you feel worse or misdiagnose and in a state of panic, you will take everyone seriously. Go see a doctor first thing tomorrow.

    • I'll definitely mention it next time I see her. I'm not exactly having any "negative" symptoms yet, and as it's either stopped or slowed right down, I'm not worried, but thanks, Tare, for your concern. I guess this must be rarer than I thought, though.
