Is it normal that i feel like i lost my creativity?

For a while I've noticed that I haven't had a great idea in 8 years. When I was younger I was very creative and I had a big imagination. I feel like something is blocking my creative thoughts. If it is normal then I need some advice on how I can become creative again. Thanks. :)

    How's your passion?
    I'm not being cute.
When's the last time you got mad as all hell?
The last time you felt so hurt, you cried so hard you couldn't catch your breath?
The last time you started to cry just because you felt so good & so right (sexually or otherwise) you couldn't help it?
I get too comfortable, I get stagnant.
I get stagnant, my drive for what really turns me on in life begins to idle.
I stop drawing, I stop making music, I don't dance or fuck the same way I used to do...
Basically, life sucks until I break out of the too-routine way of doing things I've made into my everyday.
I get out of this by doing something I either haven't done in a long time (months, years, whatever) or I do something new all-together.
    You might try it.
If something gets fucked up along the way, go ahead & get pissed. Ever notice how creative you get when you're so furious over some bullshit you could just kill somebody? Works every time.
**NOTE: Marijuana is great for stimulating your creativity. Hallucinogenic mushrooms are even better. **

Don't smoke weed. Don't listen to that dumbass. Just follow any idea you het, mess around with childrens toys, play with legos, listen to music, or write whatever comes to mind. Those are a few ways to get the creative juices flowing.

Drugs will kill your brain cells, witch is what gives us creativity, but I guess you are all so dumb you didn't realise that

Try doing some writing promts. Describe the world around you, what you see, hear, feel, even taste ! Just write it down and let the words dance around you. Try turning it into a song or a poem. There are no limitations. It's amazing the power a mere pencil and bare peice of paper can give you.

Keep practicing! Art is hard sometimes, but it's about simplifying it, at least for me, I think. Maybe it's like writer's block, and for some, creativity starts to flow out again eventually. It reminds me of when I write songs, when I play like i'm not trying, and I do it for fun, it seems to improve. If you feel like you're pressuring yourself, be more patient. Good luck!

I think it's best to try not to force it. Let it flow. What kind of creative things are you trying to do?

Well I draw. I used to be able to draw what I see in my mind but now I can't.

I was just joking by the way. You don't actually need weed to be creative. It is just a common misconception. The next time I make this joke, I suppose I will have to add a disclaimer...
