Is it normal that i feel like i'll never have a regular life?

I'm 19 and I live with my parents, is it normal to feel like I'll never have a normal job, a home, a husband, children...? I know the definition of normality isn't just "a house and kids" but I feel like I'll never have a home of my own. It seems so natural for my friends, they build their lives one step at a time... This feels sooo out of reach to me...

You are quite young so I wouldn't worry about it.

It's normal. I often wonder about living my life, my future, if I'll ever find somebody to love me,etc. My friends seem to have found a easier way to deal with life. They've had relationships, are social, not a care in the world and seem to have their futures already planned out...

I guess the only thing people like us can do is to go one step at a time and hope for the best.

How would you feel if your father lived somewhere else, nearby and only came to your house when your mother invited him for sex?
You would continue to live with your mother, and eventually would take over her duties as head of the household.
