Is it normal that i feel happy when other people suffer?

It's just strange, whenever something bad happens to a person I know (friend or not), I get this jumpy, happy feeling inside. IIN??

OMG i cant believe people take pleasure in others misery. what can you possible derive from it? I derive pleasure helping humans out of misery. havent you ever helped somebody and felt proud you were in the position to do so. next time you see someone struggling to change a tire help them and tell me you dont feel good afterwards. Feed a homeless man with a fast food meal.

I don't think it's normal, because I am sort of the same way. Whenever there is a possible disaster, I get excited. For some reason I like when hurricanes come... because they bring disasters and the civilized will become uncivilized and we'll have to somehow survive (kind of like The Walking Dead lol). I remember being told that one of my friends door got kicked down by the police and they were held at gunpoint because the police were looking for a guy who had previously lived with them before, and I got this "I wonder how they reacted", I imagined their frightened faces...and I got an excited feel about the situation.

    I know this isn't normal...because i'm weird.
