The whole purpose of the uterus is to cause all sorts of discomfort. Evil thing, it is.

I feel that we live in a society that makes us sort of ashamed of our bodies. Like there's an unspoken rule that you shouldn't talk about it because having a penis or a vagina is weird and disgusting, but they're the things that make us human. They're just body parts, yet people feel discomfort when you bring them up.

However, if you feel physical pain as a result of hearing a word I don't think that's normal. Would you kindly go to a doctor.

Normal. Some people just have words that they dislike saying or hearing.

they aren't particularly attractive sounding words. I also hate 'scrotum" and "uvula".
    Stupid names!

Every-time I hear cervix I think of someone removing part of a woman. It sounds too much like sever. Sever makes me think of severed organs spewing blood all over the floor. This word association game was fun! Glad I played.
