Is it normal that i feel bad because my best friend kissed my crush?

I kissed my crush on New Year's Eve for the second time. But he was really drunk and he was talking to all the girls at the party. Then he kissed my best friend in front of me (they both didn't know about their connection to me, she didn't recognize him). Of course I immediately told her that I had a crush on him and that I had also kissed him that same night, she felt so bad.. I mean she was actually crying. Later I texted him to point out that he kissed my best friend. Then a few days later he added her on Facebook. She declined, because she felt really guilty about kissing him. Now he's following her on Instagram. Since then, he hasn't tried talking to me once. I just feel so dumb and rejected.

    Aww ...im sorry hun .
    Maybe he wasnt right for you...im sure you will fall for some other guy...the best thing you can do for yourself is grab your fav food (mine is pizza) put on a fav movie or tv show and spend time doing things that take your mind off of it.
    you have a good friend that is standing by you and not talking to him out of concern for you feelings..maybe a girls night out with your friend sounds fun.

        You turned him off and scared him away. He's just someone you're crushing on and not even your boyfriend, yet you try to control him in a passive aggressive manner by telling him about your best girlfriend, and expecting him to leave her alone.

        He probably liked her better than he liked you. Sad, but possibly true. I dunno what you said to your best friend, but it must have been something heavy to make her cry. She sounds like a nice girl though.

          It's possible that I turned him off and scared him away after I told him that. But after he kissed her he kept on trying to get me to go home with him, the same night. And yes, I find that disgusting and I like to speak my mind about something like that.

          You're probably right that he likes her better now, as he is constantly trying to contact her. But then again, my best friend cried because she kissed the same guy as me, not because I said something mean about it to her. If anything I tried to comfort her, so our friendship is fine. Thank you for the advice though.

    Something similar (not exactly) happened with me, and my "best friend" became my crush's girlfriend.
