Is it normal that i feel awful all the time?

HI! my name's Alexander and I'm 24,I've been feeling quite bad recently. since I left my job ( which I hated), due to economic reasons I couldn't possibly get out of my home much;it was 3 months ago; I live with my mother and my sister.Well, my sister is drug addict, and my mother is a little on the edge because she lost her job as well.
I have a girlfriend, she 'd like to have a family with me but now, i can't afford it..she's a little frustrated about it and I'm afraid that she's gonna leave me. I feel so useless that I can't even sleep.
Right now, while I'm stuck in my own home, what can I do to feel better? Is it normal to feel so bad?

Look for a job and find an activity that you enjoy. Maybe volunteer somewhere to kill time in a helpful way.

Your girlfriend should try to be more understanding of your situation.
    Your sister needs help.
Tell you mom to think positive and try out for a new job.
You too, just don't give up and look at the brighter side of things, moping about won't you get you anywhere. :( I hope things turn out for the better for you.

All you really can do is keep looking for work. Just keep trying and hopefully you're girlfriend will see that you are doing all that you can do in your situation.

I know what it's like to feel useless etc, and I also know what it's like when the people around you and your living environment also impact on your overall mood. But although its common, it's not necessarily "normal", or at least it shouldn't have to be a part of everyday life.
The important thing right now (although difficult) is to concentrate on yourself. If your GF actually loves you, she will understand if not at least respect your decision regarding starting a family at this point in time.
As for something you can do in your home; it is important to get your blood flowing! Some sort of exercise, even walking on the spot in front of the TV will make you feel better physically and mentally and might help you get a few hours sleep! Maybe try singing songs? Silent screaming? Meditate daily and Imagine a warm secure future?
It's also important to have positive social time on a daily basis. A cup of coffee with a friend?
    I wish you luck :)

well, I train hard everyday just to make sure my body doesn't turn into jelly but I miss all my friends I hope I could recover their friendship after my "disappearance".It won't be easy but I guess they'll understand.

Thank you so much guys&girls for your precious advices

If they're you real friends and deserve your company they will understand and accept that people have flaws and also need space sometimes! I know I've lost friends for YEARS due to me "retreating to the trenches" but you know what??
The ones who matter come back like nothing has changed. They ones who don't, don't matter! :)
